In July Marlene joined Kelli Pedroia, melanoma survivor and wife of Red Sox
player, Dustin Pedroia, at Inspired, an evening filled with inspirational
stories of hope from cancer survivors. She spoke at the event and was
honored as a cancer survivor. The Melanoma Foundation of New England
sponsored Inspired.

Marlene was asked to be one of the panelists on the Recovery Panel of survivors through a whole foods plant-based diet and macrobiotics. Marlene encouraged those in attendance to become activists for changes in our healthcare system and to become advocates for a plant-based diet to combat disease in America.
